MSc Information Management
The Master's program Information Management at Tilburg University focuses on the strategic role of information, data, and technology within organizations. The one-year program explores how organizations can use information systems and digital technologies to support business strategy, improve processes, create value, and respond to technological developments.
The program offers two specialized tracks: Information Management: Strategy and Governance and Information Management: Intelligence and Innovation.
The Strategy and Governance track focuses on aligning Information Systems strategy with business strategy and creating effective governance. Students learn how organizations can manage information effectively and securely while using IT, data, and AI to support strategic, tactical, and operational goals. The track also addresses topics such as IT governance, strategic sourcing, cybersecurity, and the role of information systems in digital transformation.
The Intelligence and Innovation track focuses on artificial intelligence, business analytics, digital innovation, and transformation. Students learn how organizations can use data and advanced digital technologies to create value, support decision-making, and respond to changing business environments. The track also considers how new technologies can be adopted responsibly.
Both tracks combine academic knowledge with practical applications and prepare students for the growing role of technology and information within modern organizations.

As an Information Management student, Asset | Operations & Innovation gives you the opportunity to connect your studies to the business world and meet companies and professionals working in IT, information management, and digital transformation.
Our Information Management Dinner offers an opportunity to learn more about the industry, meet companies, and explore possible career paths. In addition, you can participate in other company events, career-oriented activities, and social events throughout the year.
Asset provides a community where you can connect with fellow students and discover how the topics you study are applied in organizations.
